about

Highly limited edition new 12” E.P from London based post-rock band Closely associated with Black Country, New Road and a whole new spawn of young bands coming from in and around the London area.

Following on from the instantly sold out 2019 Slumber / Bones 7” and the bedroom recordings tour cassette on Warm Laundry and Blank Editions respectively, deathcrash emerge from Lockdown with a breathtaking ( is that term we can use yet?) new 12” EP entitled people thought my windows were stars.

The new E.P, recorded before and after Lockdown in 2020 is a product of a truly uncertain time, a period when everything we hold so dear fell apart and we were forced to look in the mirror at ourselves and re-evaluate everything we are and how we navigate ourselves responsibly. The length of the new songs flirt in full length territory with a unique fragility that never loses focus, taking sacred deep breaths whilst building to huge epic crescendos using the generosity (when kind) that time can give...

This limited edition E.P arrives via a unique collaboration between Blank Editions and untitled (recs), both labels and the band, residing in London.

The new E.P arrives in 2 versions

Version 1: Edition of 250 copies + insert and DL Code
Version 2: Edition of 50 hand numbered copies w/ 2 x art prints + Insert and DL Code
