  Wanderings, Inspired by the rich history of Stoke Newington is a two track 20 minute soundscape assembled during the last fog engulfed days of December 2016 and pays tribute to the ghosts of the New River and the Old Piano Factory on Carysfort Road, Two historic areas in Hackney that helped shape the geography of the north London neighbourhood.
  
  Using layers of desolate guitar feedback and neighbourhood field recordings (which often capture atmospheric piano / saxophone lessons recorded outside peoples homes), Wanderings is a walk through an old neighbourhood quickly engulfing the listener into a series of daydream-esque sections that work against one another creating a beautifully immersive journey through one of the oldest areas in North London and where Blank Editions is based.
